In 2004, White and Kaplan, both CPAs, founded the residential property management company. At the time, competitors had a “15-year head start on us,” White says. Today, KW has more than 70,000 units under management and about 1,500 employees in eight offices across Florida and the Bahamas.

White received a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a master’s in taxation from the University of Miami.
