Paul Kaplan co-founded KWPMC in 2004 and since then has enjoyed watching the company grow to become an industry leader that offers property management, accounting services and consulting for real estate assets throughout Florida, the East Coast and the Bahamas. Paul has also been a general partner and project manger on numerous successful Florida real estate transactions, including condo conversions totaling more than 1,000 units and office conversions totaling more than 100,000 square feet. In addition, he has been a receiver or monitor on both residential and commercial assets throughout Florida. Prior to founding KWPMC, he was with Berkowitz Dick Pollack & Brant as an auditor. He began his career with Arthur Andersen, the international accounting and consulting firm. Paul received his MBA from The University of Miami and his Bachelor of Business Administration from Tulane University. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Katalina Cruz, Chief Executive Officer of KWPMC, has been instrumental to the company’s growth since joining in October 2004, just five months after its founding. Over her first decade at KWPMC, she served as Chief Financial Officer—managing all financial operations—and concurrently as Director of Human Resources, where she established the organization’s HR framework, payroll systems, and helped define KWPMC’s core values and vision. In June 2015, Cruz was appointed Chief Operating Officer. In that role, she introduced the pioneering “Standards of Excellence Program,” which tracks 25 key performance indicators for each client monthly—an industry first. She also led the development of the “New Client Transition System,” improving accountability and communication during onboarding and providing clarity for new clients throughout their first 90 days. Her emphasis on people, processes, technology, and talent management ultimately elevated the company’s customer experience. She ascended to President in 2022 and most recently assumed her current role as CEO in January 2025. A Certified Public Accountant, Cruz holds an MBA and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Florida International University. She remains an active member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

In his role as President and Chief Operating Officer, Jorge Lago works with the executive team to continue strengthening KWPMC’s people, processes and technology while keeping the organization focused on delivering superior customer service. Prior to joining KWPMC, Lago was Senior Vice President of Property and Asset Management at My Community Homes, a KKR portfolio company, where he led its business growth initiatives and national operations. Prior to that, Lago served as Vice President of Real Estate Asset Management for Wells Fargo Bank in Seattle. In that role, he oversaw all real estate asset management services in the Pacific Northwest, which included seven markets, and managed commercial and residential real estate investments for high-net-worth and institutional clients. Lago has been instrumental in driving new technological updates and enhancements at KWPMC, positioning the company as an industry innovator. His focus on technology, process optimization, and data driven approaches has led to significant improvements in customer service and precision in operations. Lago has also integrated key values services such as F&B, Engineering, Hospitality, and Procurement programs providing essential products to customers faster. His contributions reaffirm KWPMC's commitment to drive industry trends and continually enhance its service offerings to customers. Beginning his career in property management with FirstService Residential, Lago managed high-rise condominium associations across South Florida. He earned his Master of Business Administration from the University of Miami and Bachelor of Business Administration from St. Thomas University.

Suzel Broe joined KWPMC in 2024, bringing her extensive accounting expertise to support the company’s associations. A Certified Public Accountant, Suzel has more than two decades of experience as a business owner, consultant, and senior accounting professional, with a Big-4 accounting background. She has worked with major clients such as Restaurant Brands International (NYSE: QSR), University of Miami, Cyxtera Technologies (NYSE: CYXT), and AppGate Inc. Most recently, Suzel served as CFO of Orion Real Estate Group. Her experience spans managing multiple clients and complex projects, including accounting policy implementation, purchase accounting, acquisition integration, due diligence for business acquisitions, and systems conversions. Additionally, Suzel has led efforts in strategic finance, planning, financial modeling, and operations, helping businesses optimize financial processes and achieve long-term success.

Oscar has nearly seven years of experience as the Director of Operations at a South Florida-based association management firm, with expertise in developing effective policies and procedures for corporate and field operations teams. His broad base of experience includes managing high-rise condominiums, homeowners’ associations and commercial properties. Prior to his career in property management, Oscar spent close to 11 years in big box retail management and operations, refining his leadership and operational skills.

Tim has more than 25 years of senior leadership positions providing inspiration and direction to growing companies. He was owner and President of Right Choice Services, a marketing services company that he sold to FirstService Corporation in 2002. Tim then served as the Senior Vice President of the company’s supply chain management division. In 2009, Tim became the CEO of the Continental Group, a Florida property management company and then the Regional President of FirstService Residential’s Southeast Division. In his role with KWPMC, Tim is responsible for the company’s strategic growth, emerging markets and client relationships. Tim believes that every problem has a solution as long as all parties want to reach a resolution. Tim helps KWPMC clients find solutions to problems. He received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee and his Master of Business Administration from the University of Memphis.

Martin's impressive background encompasses over 20 years of hands-on experience in managing operations at esteemed establishments such as Ritz-Carlton and St. Regis Residences and Hotels. Notably, Martin has successfully overseen the completion and opening of over 20 new buildings.

Zuly Maribona joined the organization in 2008, headquartered in Bonita Springs. Zuly’s responsibilities included managing KWPMC’s operations from Naples-Ft Myers through Tampa, Orlando and Jacksonville. Zuly now leads the strategic growth of the company for these areas of Florida. She has been integral in the growth of those markets, and she continues to focus on expanding the company’s presence. Employee development, client satisfaction and management through key performance metrics are a continued focus for Zuly. Prior to joining KW Property Management Zuly spent over 15 years in areas of mortgage banking, technology and residential construction. Zuly holds a degree in Business Administration. Her professional certifications and memberships include Green Professional Buildings Skills, Community Associations Institute and Worldwide Women’s Association.

With over 20 years of professional experience, including 15 dedicated to human resources and training, Aatifa is a seasoned leader in talent management, organizational development, and strategic human capital initiatives. Aatifa has spent 16 years in the luxury hospitality industry and 4 years in property management, cultivating a deep understanding of service excellence, employee engagement, and operational efficiency across dynamic and customer-centric environments. Since Aatifa joined KWPMC in 2021, she is recognized for designing and implementing HR strategies that align with organizational goals while fostering a culture of collaboration, inclusivity, and innovation. Their expertise spans recruitment and retention, leadership development, employee relations, compliance, and driving organizational change to support growth and profitability. In luxury hospitality, Aatifa led HR initiatives for high-performing teams, focusing on delivering exceptional guest experiences by empowering and supporting employees at all levels. Transitioning to property management, Aatifa leveraged their HR acumen to optimize workforce performance, streamline HR operations, and enhance employee satisfaction in a competitive market. A results-oriented and people-focused leader, Aatifa is committed to fostering environments where talent thrives, diversity is celebrated, and business objectives are exceeded. They hold an MBA with specializations in Human Resources or Business Management and are passionate about mentoring the next generation of HR professionals.

Frank Simone is an experienced transactional and litigation attorney who is also a Certified Financial Planner. A graduate of St. Thomas University School of Law, Simone has been licensed to practice in Florida for more than 20 years. Simone’s specialty areas include banking law, corporate law, commercial litigation, appellate litigation and trust and estate planning. He has appeared on local news (ABC, NBC, FOX, and CBS) and on national news programs providing insight on legal matters.

Carolina serves as the Regional Vice President for Miami-Dade luxury properties. She leads a team of district managers, general managers, developers, and association board members on the vision and strategic direction of properties. With Carolina’s extensive hospitality background, she is proficient in recruiting, training, and coaching, managing complex property operations. Carolina’s extensive experience in residential property management includes fourteen years with Four Seasons in various roles. She also earned her law degree while living in Colombia. She began her career in hospitality in the accounting department at the Trump International Sonesta Beach Resort before joining Four Seasons Hotel Miami as a Residences Manager. Carolina advanced quickly to become the Director of Residences and most recently Regional Director of Residences before joining KWPMC.

Prior to joining the firm, Sheila worked for a Florida-based real estate development firm, providing financial and operations management services, overseeing a portfolio valued at over $2 billion. She is also a former Senior Financial Analyst at Starwood Vacation Ownership, contributing to the development of the renowned St. Regis in Bal Harbour. Sheila holds an MBA and a bachelor’s degree in Hospitality & Tourism Management from Florida International University.

As KWPMC’s Vice President, Annet oversees the company’s growth and activities in the pivotal Miami-Dade County market. She focuses on strengthening client relationships, developing high-performing management teams, enhancing KWPMC’s service standards and improving operational processes. Annet has excelled in multiple roles at KWPMC over the past nine years and has 15 years of hospitality experience.

Annet most recently served as District Manager at KWPMC, overseeing condominium and homeowners’ associations for properties ranging from 120 to 1,700 units. She has also worked with new developments and significant capital improvement projects at existing communities. Annet started at KWPMC as a General Manager before earning promotions to District Manager and her current Vice President position.

A certified Community Association Manager (CAM), Annet now serves as a CAM Instructor for Gold Coast Schools, educating future and current licensed professionals through courses mandated by Florida’s Department of Business and Professional Regulation.

Annet earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Florida International University. An avid runner, Annet has completed three full marathons.

Andrew's global hospitality career spans corporate, development, and operational roles, including pioneering the Autograph Collection with The Kessler Collection and executive leadership at Vision Hospitality and First Hospitality Group’s food and beverage division. He has led the creation, negotiation, design, and management of private clubs, communities, and new ventures, sharpening his skills in concept development, operations, and project management. Andrew has supported over 30 F&B projects, from fast casual to 5-diamond operations, assisting with development, operational optimization, feasibility assessments, site selection, brand management, and business transformations. Growing up in a military family, he developed a passion for European flavors, which shape his culinary approach. He holds degrees in culinary arts and hospitality management, is a certified food and beverage expert and executive chef, and mentors aspiring professionals through CFHLA, CMAA, and the Lee College Culinary program.

Her experience has highlighted significant project management, financial, capital, and reserve experience, as well as a well rounded portfolio that includes the management of residential communities, large lifestyle associations in the thousands of units, high rise, garden, and commercial condominiums, and luxury class A Motorcoach resorts. She is a dedicated leader that has developed a strong portfolio by focusing on a foundation of collaboration, team dynamics, and strategic planning.

Bruce is the Regional Vice President for the Southeast Region. He leads a team of district managers and a workforce of over 400 employees. Bruce plays a pivotal role in KWPMC’s continuing education program. He developed and continues to run programs for the further advancement of key building personnel. Prior to joining KWPMC, he spent 12 years as the Vice President of Operations with Shelby Homes, one of the largest independent builders in South Florida. He graduated with a business degree from Buffalo State College in New York and while living in Manhattan, he worked in commercial and residential real estate for over 14 years.

Known for her strategic vision, hands-on approach, and ability to build lasting trust with boards, owners, and residents, Jennifer has established herself as a results-driven leader dedicated to operational excellence and exceptional client service.

As Vice President in FirstService Residential, Inc. - Manhattan Condo/Co-op Division, Jennifer led a high-performing team of property managers and assistants overseeing more than 2,000 residential units and a $2.5 million annual portfolio. She is recognized for cultivating a culture of accountability, professionalism, and service by leading her team with guidance, mentorship, and empathy, inspiring staff to deliver best-in-class results for every property. Jennifer’s leadership is grounded in deep operational knowledge, from multi-million-dollar budget planning and capital project oversight to navigating complex compliance regulations and implementing forward-thinking efficiency initiatives.

He holds Real Estate Broker’s Licenses for North and South Carolina. Jeff has joined KWPMC as Regional Vice President, covering the Greater Orlando and Jacksonville markets. Jorge Larrieu, Jr. is a results-driven hospitality and real estate professional with over 25 years of leadership experience across luxury hotels, resorts, and condominium communities. He recently served as the General Manager at Park Grove, where his leadership has was instrumental in implementing a five-year strategic plan to enhance resident satisfaction and financial stability. Previously he was General Manager with Benchmark Hotels leading the team at Beachwalk Resort & Residences (2016-2020). Prior experience includes leading multiple resort operations for Wyndham, Hilton Hotels and Sol Melia Vacation Ownership. (2007–2015). Known for driving operational excellence, strategic planning, and client relationship management, Jorge has successfully led large-scale teams, managed multimillion-dollar budgets, and executed complex projects, including property openings, renovations, and crisis management. His expertise in financial optimization, contract negotiation, and delivering high-value customer experiences makes him a valuable asset in his new role in Business Development for the Developer Services team, where he leverages his deep industry knowledge to cultivate client relationships and drive growth in the real estate sector.

Stephen brings over two decades of luxury hospitality experience, including 17 years of Food & Beverage experience with Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts. With Four Seasons, he held leadership roles at properties in California, The Bahamas, Hawaii, and Florida, and served as Director of Food & Beverage in Miami for seven years. He earned a master’s degree in International Hospitality Management from the Scottish Hotel School at the University of Strathclyde, and a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.

Jaime Tejada has dedicated his career to the hospitality and food & beverage industry for the past 41 years. Currently serving as the Vice President of Hospitality for KWPMC, Jaime has worked in diverse locations, including New York, New Jersey, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Miami, Hawaii, and Lima, Peru. Throughout his illustrious career, Jaime has collaborated with renowned companies such as The Ritz Carlton Coconut Grove, The Ritz Carlton Key Biscayne, The Ritz Carlton South Beach, The Ritz Carlton Fort Lauderdale, St. Regis Bal Harbour, The St. Regis Princeville, Mandarin Oriental, Carillon Hotel, Bryant Park Hotel, and various independent restaurants across different states. Jaime's journey in the industry began as a dishwasher, and he has since ascended through various roles including server assistant, food runner, expeditor, bar back, host, cashier, server, café supervisor, F&B supervisor, assistant F&B outlet manager, F&B outlet manager, banquet manager, director of banquets, and director of operations. This diverse experience has endowed him with comprehensive industry knowledge from multiple perspectives. As the Vice President of Hospitality for KWPMC, Jaime leverages his extensive expertise to ensure the successful operation of multiple locations. His exceptional leadership skills and unwavering commitment to maintaining high standards have earned him respect and admiration in the field.

Sandy has been a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Florida since 1984. Prior to joining KWPMC in 2012, she was the accounting and audit partner at Bennett & Bennett, CPAs, PA. She has been a member of the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, American Woman’s Society of Certified Public Accountants and Community Associations Institute. She is a member of the Common Interest Realty Association (CIRA) Committee for Florida Institute of Certified Public Accounts and has served on their CIRA Section Steering Committee, Resource Council and Conference Planning Committee.

Nicolas began his career in food and beverage, spending 10 years working in restaurants, bars, catering, events, and nightclubs. After earning a BA in business management and administration, he transitioned to the hotel and resort industry, ultimately becoming a hotel task force manager and then an executive over the course of 10 years. Nicolas later shifted to property management, where he opened multiple luxury condominiums and now oversees developer services for KW Property Management and Consulting. The markets served by the company expand across the United States and internationally. Additionally, he asset manages a restaurant located in Westhampton Beach. He specializes in budgets, financials, maintenance, operations, accounting, hospitality, people and business development, and property and asset management.
