What contractors that service our community are considered essential?
Essential work at this time is maintenance that keeps the pool clean, the building sterilized, the HVAC and elevators running, and the landscaping maintained, for example. However, large crews in a confined space goes against the guidelines being given to residents. Most condominiums and HOAs are halting in-home work, repairs and maintenance that are NOT essential but rather modifications. Essential in-home repairs are things like a water leak or other issue that can cause further damage to other units or create an issue with the functioning of an essential appliance needed to comfortably quarantine (e.g. A/C doesn’t work, an appliance stopped functioning, etc.).
